Our vision is a Tampa Bay community where every veteran feels valued, connected, supported, and empowered to thrive. We envision veterans and their families having reliable access to transportation, community connections, wellness activities, and trusted resources.
Who We Serve
We serve veterans and their families throughout East and South Hillsborough County and the greater Tampa Bay area. Priority support is provided to veterans experiencing social isolation, transportation barriers, difficulty navigating resources, or limited access to community-based services.
Why It Matters
Veterans may experience social isolation, transportation challenges, and difficulty finding the right services after military service. Vann Rainey Veterans Alliance understands these challenges through both professional service and lived military experience. Founder and CEO James Vann is a U.S. Army Gulf War veteran who served from 1989 to 1994. His commitment to serving fellow veterans guides the organization's mission and ensures its programs are delivered with respect, understanding, and a genuine connection to the veteran community. No veteran should have to navigate life's challenges alone.
